1. Cinderella (1950)

Cinderella is a 1950 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney and originally released by RKO Radio Pictures. Based on the fairy tale Cendrillon by Charles Perrault, it is the twelfth Disney animated feature film. Directing credits go to Clyde GeronimiHamilton Luske, and Wilfred Jackson. Songs were written by Mack DavidJerry Livingston, and Al Hoffman. Songs in the film include "Cinderella", "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", "Sing Sweet Nightingale", "The Work Song", "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo", and "So This is Love". It features the voices of Ilene WoodsEleanor AudleyVerna FeltonRhoda WilliamsJames MacDonaldLuis van RootenDon BarclayMike Douglas, and Lucille Bliss.
At the time, Walt Disney Productions had suffered from losing connections to the European film markets due to the outbreak of World War II, enduring some box office bombs like PinocchioFantasia, and Bambi, all of which would later become more successful with several re-releases in theaters and on home video. At the time, however, the studio was over $4 million in debt and was on the verge of bankruptcy. Walt Disney and his animators turned back to feature film production in 1948 after producing a string of package films with the idea of adapting Charles Perrault's Cendrillon into a motion picture. It is the first Disney film in which all of Disney's Nine Old Men worked together as directing animators. After two years in production, Cinderella was finally released on February 15, 1950. It became the greatest critical and commercial hit for the studio since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and helped reverse the studio's fortunes. It is considered one of the best American animated films ever made, as selected by the American Film Institute. It received three Academy Award nominations, including Best Music, Original Song for "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo". Decades later, it was followed by two direct-to-video sequels—Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Timeand a 2015 live-action remake directed by Kenneth Branagh.

2. Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002)

Cinderella II: Dreams Come True is the first direct-to-video sequel to the 1950 Disney film Cinderella. It was made in 2001 and released on February 26, 2002. It was followed by Cinderella III: A Twist in Time in 2007. It consists of three segments featuring Cinderella planning a party, one of the mice, Jaq turned into a human, and one of Cinderella's brutal stepsisters (Anastasia, the redheaded one in a pink dress) reaching her redemption through falling in love with a young baker, a low-class man of whom Lady Tremaine and Drizella do not approve. Estimated to cost $5,000,000 to produce, Cinderella II: Dreams Come True was Walt Disney Pictures' top selling animated sequel that year, grossing approximately $120,000,000 in direct-to-video sales, but the film itself was met with a mainly negative response from fans and critics alike.

3. Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (2007)

Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (released in UK as simply Cinderella: A Twist in Time) is the second direct-to-video sequel to the 1950 Walt Disney Pictures animated classic CinderellaCanonically it is a continuation of the original Cinderella, rather than Cinderella II: Dreams Come True, though due to its unusual chronological sequencing it acknowledges the events of Cinderella II: Dreams Come True by using some of its characters. The film was released on February 6, 2007 and was directed by Frank Nissen and features the voices of Jennifer Hale and Susanne Blakeslee. It made its world television premiere on Toon Disney on December 3, 2007.

Once upon a  time, there lived an unhappy young girl with her stepmother and two step sisters who didn't like her. All the nice things, kind thought and loving touches were for her own daughters. But, for the poor unhappy girl, there was nothing at all. For she had to work hard all day, and only when evening came was she allowed to sit for a while by the fire, near the cinders. That is how she got her nickname, for everybody called her Cinderella.

It was quite true. Cinderella, even dressed in rags with a dusty gray face from the cinders, was a lovely girl. While her stepsisters, no matter how splendid and elegant their clothes, were still clumsy, lumpy, and ugly.

One day, a ball was to be held by the royal family of the kingdom to find the prince's spouse. Cinderella's stepsisters ordered beautiful new dress for the ball. Cinderella wanted to go to the ball but her stepmother asked her to stay at home.

"You? My dear girl, you're staying at home to wash the dishes, scrub the floor and turn down the beds for your stepsisters. They will come home tired and very sleepy." asked her stepmother.

Cinderella only nodded her head and began to work. Suddenly something amazing happened. In the kitchen, where Cinderella was sitting all by herself, there was a burst of light and a fairy appeared.

"Don't be afraid Cinderella, I know what you feel, my dear. Do you want to go to ball?" asked the fairy.

"Yes, I do. But look! How can I go to the ball with this dress? Cinderella replied.

Then the fairy turned Cinderella's dress became the most beautiful dress and with beautiful slippers, the loveliest ever seen in the realm. The fairy also turned a pumpkin into a parking coach and turned the mice become six white horses.

"Now, you can go to the Court and go to the ball. But remember my dear Cinderella, you must leave the ball at midnight and come home. For that is when the spell ends. Your coach will turn back into a pumpkin, the horses will become mice and you will be dressed again in rags with clogs.

At the ballroom, Cinderella amazed everybody there include the prince. When the prince set eyes on Cinderella, he was stuck by her beauty. Walking over to her, he bowed deeply and asked her to dance. Cinderella had a wonderful time at the ball. But, all of a sudden, she heard the sound of a clock, the first stroke of midnight.

Remembered what the fairy had said, Cinderella ran back to the coach and went home. But he lost one of her slippers in ballroom. The prince who was now madly in love with her, picked up her slipper and would search for the girl whose foot fitted with the slipper.

In the next morning, the prince began to search everywhere in the kingdom but no girl whose foot fitted with the slipper. Until he found Cinderella house and asked Cinderella's stepsisters to wear the slipper. But none fitted with the slipper. The prince began hopeless.

"Is there any girl else here" asked the prince.

"Yes, there are. But she is very ugly and I think she is not the girl that you are looking for." replied Cinderella's stepmother.

"Call her here!" asked the prince.

Then Cinderella's stepmother called Cinderella to come out who was dressed in rags and wore clogs like usual. The prince began to wear the slipper into Cinderella foot, and it was fit. The prince believed that Cinderella was the girl he met in the ball. Then the prince asked Cinderella to marry him. And at the end, Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever after in the kingdom.
